In the weekend just ended (n.d.r. 15 and 16 April) kicked off the third edition of Il Treno di Dante, for the first time with a spring schedule that will end on May 14 (with two special rides on April 25 and on May 1)and then resume after the summer break, from 2 September to 1 November. (on the occasion of the "bridge" of 2, 3 and 4 June, instead, will take life the cruise of the Cities of Art: 3 days to discover Florence, Brisighella, Ravenna, Ferrara and Bologna).

There were 355 total passengers (174 on Saturday and 181 on Sunday) who did not miss the opportunity to board the historic train "Centoporte", along the Apennines crossed by Dante Alighieri in his exile in Romagna. Departing from Florence at 8.50 and arriving in Ravenna, passengers have shown to appreciate the prolonged stop of an hour and a half in Faenza (on Saturday) and Brisighella (on Sunday). Several of them, in fact, decided to stay longer in the two cities, then arriving in Ravenna taking advantage of other trains "normal".

On the occasion of this first inaugural double trip of the 2023 season, the Dante Train also hosted the Rai TG2 troupe for the travel and tourism section "Yes, Travel".
